The mission of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program (MPAS) is to provide a quality medical education, which integrates academic training with the development of essential clinical skills and professionalism. We seek to graduate individuals who are intellectually engaged, analytical, and are committed to providing compassionate health care services, particularly to those in rural and underserved areas of this region.

You will find Rocky Mountain College professors challenging and interesting in the classroom, but sometimes the classroom is not confined by walls. You may find yourself in a field laboratory in Yellowstone National Park where you’re examining wolf kill. You may wander the Yellowstone Art Museum to view an exhibition of French Impressionists. You might even find classrooms conducted at 10,000 feet in a Beechcraft airplane.

Classrooms in historic campus buildings are the norm, but instruction may also be held at archaeological digs in Bethsaida, Israel or old Vienna. Our students visit the site where Custer met his fate and then discuss the battle with American Indian students on campus.

Wherever the classroom is there are no back rows. With a 14:1 student to faculty ratio, you’ll have a ringside seat. You’ll also enjoy the fact that professors with Ph.Ds are teaching. No teaching assistants, no back rows and no barriers to learning are essential ingredients to a great education at RMC. You will get to know your professors in the classroom and around campus, but they also have interesting histories and personal interests that make relationships with them even more interesting.

Every student at Rocky completes an internship or study abroad program. Rocky boasts a diverse student body with students representing 37 states and 20 countries. With approximately 1,000 students, Rocky provides an environment conducive to developing many lifelong friendships. Rocky offers dozens of clubs and organizations in which students may choose to participate, including intercollegiate athletics, volunteer opportunities, student government, and special interest clubs. Rocky boasts one of the finest collegiate outdoor recreation programs in the region and offers several opportunities for skiiing, snow boarding, whitewater kayaking, hiking, and rock climbing.

Students looking for a college experience full of challenge, fellowship, and educational excellence in an awe-inspiring environment will find a home at Rocky Mountain College.
