William Brown - CEO & Founder
William Brown, Direct College Connect's CEO, had the same traditional teachings of enrolling in college forced into him when he was attempting to enroll at University of California Los Angeles some many years ago. Growing up in the Los Angeles area, he was overwhelmed with collegiate options. He felt that things were backward and far too complex when he was subjected to one campus tour after another. Isn't there some easier way for me to see or hear about a school rather than attending these several hour long expeditions that only highlighted the mere surface of the universities potential. This could take a long time, he thought to himself. After finally enrolling after some 10+ visits to schools across the western sea board, he finally fixated on UCLA. The idea of a better way however remained instilled in his head. Only after graduating could he expand on these horizons and promote his thoughts into a formidable and tangible location. That idea transformed from one entity to the next until something had finally been delivered as his image of perfection. That finally became Direct College Connect.
Adam West - President & Co-Founder
Adam West, co-founder of Direct College Connect and President, first met with William Brown back in college. From the east coast, New Jersey area, he was also aware of the overpowering nature of college selection. The two discussed ideas, traded thoughts, and finally conjured the idea to do something about the painstaking process of college applications. Once the two graduated, they met with their formidable allies and discussed possibilities. West brought together a groundbreaking team of experienced individuals, legislature know-hows, analytical research specialists, and discovered the means to it all: How would the site work. Long nights and tireless moments eventually brought excitement to the collaborative efforts set forth by the teams. The site, the idea, the groundbreaking rendition was complete, Direct College Connect was born.
Joseph Lindale - Vice President & Technology Chair
Joseph Lindale, a graduate of University of Southern California was enlisted for his supreme knowledge of technology services. Lindale was instrumental in the creation of our proprietary software used to manage our data and the overall site design. He is crucial to our everyday operations here at Direct College Connect, and credits a meltdown to him ever leaving. The type of man who knows we need him and would cease to exist without his presence and expertise.
Brian Simmons - Vice President of Business Development
For Brian Simmons, nothing stands close to his love for football. Luckily for us, his expertise in Business Development falls a close second. Brian heads our Business Development team and helps ascertain the important network that is the purpose of our whole creation. With dual degrees in Accounting and Marketing from The University of Texas - Austin, and 11 years in the business, Brian has collaborated tremendous efforts with ensuring the success and overall reach of our company.
Ruth Grant - Controller
Ruth has been with us since the near beginning some years ago, much playing the older mother role. She features a talented array of expertise and abilities, and has oversight over all of the operations here at Direct College Connect.
Michael Cantor - CFO
Michael, our Chief Financial Officer, oversees and is responsible for our fiscal and monetary operations. Keeping us in gear and running like a finely tuned machine, Michael insures that our eyes are in line with our heads at all times.
John Orwell - Vice President of Marketing
John ensures that we meet the our perfect the visibility of our brand as well as helps promote Direct College Connect through teams of professionals who travel to high schools, Community Colleges, etc.
